Job summary

Circle Voluntary Housing Association is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Operative to perform essential repairs within homes and estates. You will work with Facilities and Tenancy Services to keep communal areas and properties safe and well-maintained, addressing carpentry, plastering, painting, and minor plumbing tasks as needed.

You will also assist with void works to support timely re-letting, ensure safety standards, liaise with contractors for larger projects, and help maintain outdoor spaces

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate including passes in Maths and English.
• Relevant construction-related qualification or extensive experience in a similar role.
• Current Safe Pass certification.
• Competent in carrying out minor repairs and keeping accurate records.
• Full, clean, and unrestricted Irish driving licence.

Responsibilities

• General Repairs: carpentry, plastering, painting, minor plumbing, and minor groundworks.
• Void Management: complete general void works to support timely re-letting of properties.
• Safety Standards: ensure work is completed safely with minimum disruption to tenants.
• Contractor Liaison: work with private contractors to ensure satisfactory completion of larger works.
• Estate Maintenance: maintain grounds, prune hedges, clear paths of moss or litter, and manage waste.
