thelunchbag is hiring a Mobile Caretaker / Maintenance Technician to support our growing hot school meals programme across County Cork. This full-time role involves travelling between schools to install and maintain kitchen equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, caretaking, facilities, or similar work is an advantage.
• Full and clean Irish driving licence required.

• Assess the best area in the school for the oven(s).
• Ensure the area is prepared for its new purpose.
• Carry out basic maintenance and repairs.
• Install and position ovens/equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues on-site.

The Lunch Bag is hiring a Mobile Caretaker / Maintenance Technician to support our growing hot school meals programme across County Cork.

This is a full-time, field-based role suited to someone practical, reliable, and comfortable working independently.

You’ll travel between schools helping install, maintain, and support kitchen equipment used in our hot food service.
