Job summary

Oaklawns Veterinary Surgery in County Carlow is seeking a Mixed Veterinary Practitioner for a true mixed practice role with a 50:50 split between small animal and large animal work. The team emphasises quality patient care, teamwork, and flexible start dates.

The practice features modern facilities and plans for refurbishment to support ongoing development. The ideal candidate will be VCI registered, bring mixed practice experience, and contribute to a supportive culture with out-of-hours

Qualifications

VCI registered Veterinary Practitioner.
Experience in mixed practice.
Strong communication and client relationship skills.
Willingness to share out-of-hours duties.

Responsibilities

Provide 50:50 small animal and large animal services, including consultations and surgery.
Manage herd health responsibilities and TB testing for farming clients.
Collaborate with an experienced team to maintain high standards of patient care.
