Job summary

Oaklawns Veterinary Surgery in County Carlow is seeking a Mixed Veterinary Practitioner to join our established team. This true 50:50 role offers a balanced mix of small animal consultations and surgery alongside large animal work, with herd health responsibilities and TB testing.

We tailor aspects of the caseload to suit your strengths and interests. We have a supportive, experienced team, modern facilities and plans for refurbishment.

Qualifications

• VCI registered Veterinary Practitioner with full license to practice.
• Strong communication and client-relations skills.
• Willingness to work across mixed animal caseload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care across small and large animals.
• Perform consultations and surgeries as required.
• Conduct herd health visits and TB testing.
• Coordinate with team to maintain excellent client relations.
