Job summary

The Vet Office is recruiting on behalf of a modern mixed veterinary practice in Ireland, offering new graduates an opportunity to learn in a supportive environment with mentoring in both equine and small animal medicine and surgery.

You will work with experienced veterinarians to gain hands-on experience, build confidence, and progressively develop greater clinical independence in a busy mixed practice setting.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and motivated to start a veterinary career.
• Strong interest in mixed practice (equine and small animals).
• Willingness to learn and develop under mentorship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• English proficiency at approx. C1 level required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured mentoring programme while gaining hands-on experience.
• Develop clinical skills across equine and small animal medicine and surgery.
• Attend and learn from experienced vets with guidance and support.
• Progressively assume more clinical responsibility as confidence grows.
• Contribute to a collaborative and professional practice environment.
