Job summary

WSP is hiring an Associate Director – Mine Water & Water Resources to lead a portfolio of mine water, hydrology and water resources projects. The role can be based from any UK or Ireland office, with responsibility for delivering technical excellence and client outcomes.

You will steer conceptual site models, water balance studies, flood risk assessments and engineering design, while guiding multidisciplinary teams across feasibility, permitting and operations on mining projects worldwide.

Qualifications

Significant experience in mine water management, hydrology or water resources.
Proven leadership of complex technical projects and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience across mining, infrastructure or environmental consultancy sectors.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership across mine water, hydrology and water resources projects.
Act as technical authority and offer expert direction across the mining lifecycle.
Lead development of conceptual site models, water balance and flood risk assessments.
Direct multi-disciplinary teams across feasibility studies, permitting and design.
Apply climate resilience analyses to engineering and water management solutions.
Build and maintain client relationships and drive new opportunities.
Lead bids, tenders and major proposals and manage project governance.
