Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking an experienced mine water professional to join the Mine Water team in Dublin or at a European/UK office. You will lead integrated mine water management projects from planning to design, coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

You will contribute to feasibility studies, ESIA-related work, due diligence, and international projects, while mentoring colleagues and driving high-quality delivery across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering mine water, hydrology or water resource projects.
• Degree in hydrology, water resources engineering, environmental engineering or related field; professional registration (CEng, CEnv or CSci).
• Project management and stakeholder engagement experience, including client liaison and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of integrated mine water management projects from planning through detailed design.
• Manage client enquiries, support bids and run technical workshops.
• Mentor and coach junior team members and contribute to strategic direction.
