Ballyfin Demesne is seeking an experienced and ambitious individual to join our One Star Michelin Star Restaurant as a chef de rang. The role centers on delivering impeccable service, engaging guests, and contributing to a memorable dining experience within Ballyfin's renowned setting.

The position is full-time, 5 days over 7, with dinner service from mid-afternoon into close. Competitive rates and excellent employee benefits are offered to the right candidate, with opportunities for training

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional service as chef de rang and ensure a memorable dining experience.
Welcome guests to the restaurant and guide them to their table.
Explain the menu, service sequence and answer guest questions.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and confirm dietary requirements.
Coordinate with kitchen and chefs to ensure smooth service.
Collaborate with the team and train colleagues as needed.
Communicate dish details to guests and manage plate presentation.
Serve and clear plates and cutlery as required.
Work with F&B and Kitchen to maintain clear guest communications.
Develop strong knowledge of Ballyfin's offerings including history, food and beverages.
