Job summary

ESB Networks in Wilton, Cork is seeking a data collection support role to assist the Meter Reading/Data Collection Team Leader. The role offers Smart Working with hybrid arrangements and attendance at the workplace for collaboration. You will contribute to data integrity and support billing processes.

Experience in data collection, strong IT skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), and good communication are essential. SAP ISU is desirable for the candidate.

Position Description

This full-time role will involve supporting the Team Leader of Data Collection in various operational tasks within the section. In addition, there will be an opportunity to work closely with associated areas within ESB Networks such as Retail Market Services (RMS), Database and Revenue Protection, Meter Registration Service Operator (MRSO) and Smart Metering. This role would suit an ambitious self-starter, interested in working in Wilton, Cork and intent on developing a career within ESB Networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Validating Meter readings received in a timely fashion to support billing deadline with the Market Place.
• Adaptable to change and supportive of moving across teams in Meter Reading to meet Business requirements.
• Flexible approach to working, including multitasking as required
• Liaising closely with other business functions within RMS and ESB Networks
• Resolve customer queries and complaints in line with our customer charter
• Participate in business projects as requiredEngage with Suppliers, customers and support contractors to reduce sites with a long term no access across meter points.
• Working as part of a highly motivated team to ensure the integrity of data in our database

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Either a Third level qualification or equivalent work experience is essential.
• Excellent IT skills – Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a team

Smart Working at ESB is designed to make ‘in-person’ time together as purposeful as possible while also enabling the effective use of digital tools and hybrid arrangements to preserve our commitment to flexibility. The successful candidate may work flexibly within the jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week. All Smart Working arrangements are subject to regular review based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the business.

Salary

€33,590 - €40,204
