Job summary

Cognizant Life Sciences Manufacturing in Limerick is seeking a QA lead to drive testing and validation for MES implementations, upgrades, and integrations in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will own testing strategy, guide CSV/GxP activities, build test docs, manage defects, and mentor a team of test engineers, with a hybrid on-site 3 days per week in Limerick.

Strong stakeholder management and experience with Azure DevOps and test automation are required; knowledge of Emerson

Qualifications

• Experience leading QA on enterprise software programs (Agile/DevOps).
• Full-spectrum testing strategy experience with team leadership.
• CI/CD test automation experience and familiarity with relevant tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Hybrid work willing: 3 days on-site in Limerick, 2 remote.

Responsibilities

• Own testing strategy across MES projects; act as release quality gate.
• Guide CSV activities in line with GxP and GAMP 5.
• Build test documentation: plans, cases, scripts (functional, regression, integration, performance, automation, UAT).
• Own defect management end-to-end (Azure DevOps/Jira).
• Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with dev/DevOps teams.
• Select and maintain test automation frameworks and environments.
• Report quality metrics and risk to stakeholders.
• Lead and develop a team of test/validation engineers.
