EFOR Group in Limerick, Ireland, is seeking an experienced Software Test Lead to own quality on a major MES programme. Based onsite, you will define and drive the testing strategy, mentor a team of test engineers, and ensure releases meet GxP and performance requirements.

You will work with Azure DevOps/Jira, automate testing within CI/CD, support CSV activities, and liaise with senior leadership with clear testing metrics. Familiarity with Syncade MES and regulated industry is highly valued.

Competenze

• Experience as a Testing Lead or Senior QA Engineer on complex enterprise software implementations.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification required or preferred.
• Experience in Agile/DevOps delivery environments.
• Hands‑on experience with test management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Zephyr, qTest).
• Experience in regulated industries (pharma, life sciences, food & beverage or similar).
• Able to explain quality and risk topics clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Syncade (Emerson) or other off‑the-shelf MES experience is a strong advantage.
• GAMP 5, CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), test automation (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) or ERP/LIMS integration experience (SAP).

What you'll do:

• Define, own and keep improving the testing strategy for MES implementations, upgrades and integrations
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, building a culture of quality and right-first-time delivery
• Design and maintain test plans, cases and scripts for functional, regression, integration, performance and UAT testing
• Work with DevOps teams to build automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and speed up release cycles
• Act as the quality gate for MES releases, making sure every change meets GxP, functional and performance requirements
• Run defect management (triage, root cause analysis and resolution tracking) in Azure DevOps or Jira
• Support Computer System Validation (CSV) activities and report clear testing metrics to senior leadership

Your background:

• Proven experience as a Testing Lead or Senior QA Engineer on complex enterprise software implementations
• Strong command of testing methodologies and tools (ISTQB or equivalent preferred)
• Experience in Agile/DevOps delivery environments
• Hands‑on experience with test management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Zephyr, qTest)
• Experience in a regulated industry (pharma, life sciences, food & beverage or similar)
• Able to explain quality and risk topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Syncade (Emerson) or other off-the-shelf MES experience (eBR, workflow configuration, integrations) is a strong advantage
• GAMP 5, CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), test automation (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) or ERP/LIMS integration experience (SAP) is a plus
