Job summary

Cognizant Life Sciences Manufacturing in Limerick is seeking a QA lead to drive testing and validation for MES implementations, upgrades, and integrations in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will own testing strategy, guide CSV/GxP activities, build test docs, manage defects, and mentor a team of test engineers, with a hybrid on-site 3 days per week in Limerick.

Strong stakeholder management and experience with Azure DevOps and test automation are required; knowledge of Emerson

• CI/CD test automation experience and familiarity with relevant tools.

• Hybrid work willing: 3 days on-site in Limerick, 2 remote.

About the Role

Lead testing and validation for MES implementation, upgrade, and integration projects in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own testing strategy across MES projects; act as release quality gate
• Guide CSV activities in line with GxP and GAMP 5
• Build test documentation: plans, cases, scripts (functional, regression, integration, performance, automation, UAT)
• Own defect management end-to-end (Azure DevOps/Jira)
• Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with dev/DevOps teams
• Select and maintain test automation frameworks and environments
• Report quality metrics and risk to stakeholders
• Lead and develop a team of test/validation engineers

What We're Looking For

• Experience leading QA on enterprise software programs (Agile/DevOps)
• Full-spectrum testing strategy experience, plus team leadership
• CI/CD test automation experience
• Azure DevOps + tools like Cucumber, Tosca, or Robot; Xray/Zephyr/qTest
• MES testing background (Emerson Syncade/DeltaV MES preferred)
• GxP/CSV/GAMP 5 knowledge; SAP/LIMS integration testing experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Hybrid: 3 days on-site in Limerick, 2 remote
