Job summary

Tyndall National Institute in Cork invites applications for a Lithography Technician to join the Silicon MEMS cleanroom. The role provides short-term cover for up to 6 months, supporting established lithography processes and metrology within a research-grade semiconductor facility.

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in science, engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on semiconductor wafer processing or comparable lab/manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating computer-controlled processing equipment and following SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day lithography operations including resist coating, bake and development.
• Operate lithography tools and monitor equipment to meet timelines.
• Assist with related process steps to keep wafers moving through lithography flow.
• Follow SOPs precisely and report deviations to process engineers.
• Maintain records of wafer lots and recipe versions, including deviations.
• Carry out metrology and inspection and report results to engineers.
• Support troubleshooting of lithography issues under guidance of process engineers.
• Contribute to DOEs and data capture for process experiments.
