Job summary

Tyndall National Institute in Cork seeks a Maintenance Lead to direct and coordinate maintenance across CiR facilities within a high‑tech semiconductor environment. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage vendor relationships, and drive reliability improvements in a cost‑effective, safe, and sustainable manner.

The role demands 10+ years’ hands‑on experience with semiconductor equipment, strong project management skills, and deep knowledge of cleanroom systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance.
• Experience in equipment installation, project management, maintenance, and process support.
• Strong knowledge of cleanroom design and lab infrastructure maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities for CiR facilities.
• Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships and act as primary on-site contact for service.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies and KPIs.
