Job summary

North Midlands Credit Union Limited is seeking Clerical Assistants to support front office, teller, member services and back-office duties across our branch network in Mullingar and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include handling member transactions, delivering high-quality services and performing administrative tasks while maintaining compliance with policies. A Leaving Certificate is essential; candidates should be prepared to pursue QFA/CUA qualifications.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent is essential.
• QFA or CUA qualification or willingness to commence studies toward obtaining these on starting.
• Proficiency in ICT skills across Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent verbal and written communications and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with members courteously across face-to-face, phone, and online channels.
• Conduct teller duties including lodgements, withdrawals, and loan disbursements and balance cash.
• Assist members and provide details on range of services offered by the credit union.
• Handle back-office administrative tasks to support member services and wider team.
• Ensure strict compliance with all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
