Job summary

Glanua is seeking a MEICA Project Engineer to work at Ballinamuck Wtp, Waterford. You will lead multi-project delivery, ensuring HSQE compliance and on-site safety, with responsibility for method statements, risk assessments, and commissioning activities.

The role requires 2+ years in water sector projects and a Level 7 degree. You will liaise with suppliers, manage budgets, and contribute to CPD and staff mentoring within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar MEICA/water sector role.
• Level 7 Honours Degree in a relevant Engineering field.
• Strong teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects with a collaborative team approach.
• Maintain HSQE standards and statutory requirements on-site.
• Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments before activities.
• Oversee FAT/SAT/ITR testing and commissioning.
• Engage suppliers and sub-contractors during procurement.
