Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Medical Sales Representative to cover the West of Ireland on a six-month fixed-term contract. You will drive sales targets, build trusted relationships with GPs, pharmacists, nurses and other healthcare professionals, and conduct local educational meetings across your territory.

You will plan calls, manage territory activity, and use CRM systems to maintain records and plans, ensuring compliance with industry regulations while delivering strong performance.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Sales Representative to join a high-performing team on a six-month fixed-term contract, covering the West of Ireland. This field-based opportunity is ideal for a commercially focused sales professional who can quickly build trusted relationships with healthcare customers, deliver strong territory performance and maintain a high standard of compliance.

What you will do

• Deliver sales targets and drive growth across the assigned territory.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with GPs, pharmacists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.

• Plan and execute effective customer calls, territory activity and local educational meetings.

• Identify new opportunities and use market insight to improve customer engagement and territory performance.

What you will bring

• Previous pharmaceutical, healthcare or relevant field sales experience.

• A proven ability to achieve targets and manage a territory independently.

• Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building and influencing skills.

• Commercial awareness, excellent planning skills and a results-focused approach.

• Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

• A full, clean driving licence and flexibility to travel throughout the West of Ireland.

• A relevant third-level qualification is preferred.

Contract and territory

This is a field-based, six-month fixed-term opportunity covering the West of Ireland. Frequent travel across the territory and occasional attendance at national meetings or conferences will be required.
