Korn Ferry in Cork, Ireland, is seeking a hands-on Project Manager / Project Engineer to support a global medical device manufacturer on supplier and product transfer programs. Hybrid work model in Cork, Ireland, 12-month contract.

The role centers on managing supplier-to-supplier transfers, coordinating validation and production readiness, and ensuring timely execution while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Competenze

• Approximately 2–5+ years' experience in engineering, project management, manufacturing, quality or related technical discipline.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, ideally medical devices.
• Hands-on delivery of engineering, manufacturing, supplier, validation or product-transfer projects.
• Understanding of validation lifecycles, quality systems and change-control processes.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering, quality, supply chain and manufacturing stakeholders.

• Manage supplier-to-supplier transfer projects involving medical device components and processes.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies and actions.
• Coordinate transfer, qualification and production-readiness activities at receiving supplier facilities.
• Work with suppliers to resolve technical, quality and scheduling challenges.
• Ensure regulatory, quality and change-control requirements are addressed throughout the transfer lifecycle.
• Coordinate validation activities and ensure documentation and evidence meet required standards.
• Deliver projects within a regulated medical device quality environment.
• Identify risks, perform root-cause analysis and develop recovery plans while maintaining compliance.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and provide concise status updates to stakeholders.
