Job summary

Mechanical Supervisor role in Greater Dublin with a salary between €75,000 and €85,000 plus a company vehicle and pension. You will oversee mechanical installations across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, coordinating site teams and ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll manage labour, materials and subcontractors, plan activities, and liaise with design teams and main contractors.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Plumbing or Pipefitting.
• 10+ years’ experience on mechanical building services.
• Experience as Mechanical Supervisor, Site Manager or Foreman.
• Experience on residential, commercial or industrial projects.
• Ability to manage site teams and coordinate subcontractors.
• Reading mechanical drawings and solving site issues.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day mechanical installation works.
• Coordinate the site team to deliver safely, on programme and to required quality.
• Supervise mechanical installations from first fix through commissioning.
• Coordinate direct labour, subcontractors and apprentices.

They are now seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical installations on commercial and residential projects across the Greater Dublin area.

About Your New Job

Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day mechanical installation works, coordinating the site team to deliver safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

• Supervise mechanical installations from first fix through to commissioning.


• Coordinate direct labour, subcontractors and apprentices.


• Plan daily and weekly activities, including labour, materials and deliveries.


• Coordinate works with the Project Manager, design team and main contractor.

What You’ll Need

• 10+ years’ experience on mechanical building services projects.


• Experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, Site Manager or Foreman. Experienced Chargehands ready to take on greater responsibility will also be considered.


• Experience on residential, commercial or industrial projects.


• The ability to manage site teams, organise workloads and coordinate subcontractors.


• Confidence reading mechanical drawings and resolving site issues.


• Good communication and leadership skills.
