Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment partners with a leading mechanical contractor in the Dublin area to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager for a busy 2027 project pipeline.

You will develop budgets, lead teams, manage subcontractors, ensure H&S compliance, and drive schedules and procurement to meet milestones. The package includes a base of €100,000+, a vehicle and a bonus structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services or trade qualification.
• Over 10 years of experience in construction or a related industry is preferred.
• Consistent track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets and cost plans.
• Lead multiple project teams to ensure timely and on-scope contract delivery.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to successfully deliver all aspects of assigned client projects.
• Manage and assess the quality of subcontractor work.
• Oversee compliance with current Health & Safety legislation.
• Support the Project Surveyor in managing and controlling contract costs and variations, with regular cost projections reported to the Construction Director.
• Identify and manage project risks, ensuring early intervention with design teams to meet deliverables and deadlines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure high accuracy in planning and scheduling activities.
• Develop and implement project schedules aligned with key milestones, coordinating necessary resources.
• Develop and monitor material procurement schedules to meet project timelines

Your New Job

As Project Manager, you will be tasked with the following:
