Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager for a major Data Centre project in Frankfurt, Germany. You will lead all mechanical construction activities, coordinate BIM design, and manage safety, quality, and schedule on site.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will control package costs, subcontractor performance, and procurement while developing the project team. 7+ years’ experience and a mechanical engineering background are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant Mechanical Trade qualification.
• 7+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience on Data Centre projects is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Lead all mechanical construction activities, equipment packages, and trade interfaces to deliver project objectives.
• Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with site procedures, permits, safe systems of work, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee QA/QC processes, inspections, audits, snagging, and documentation to ensure works meet project standards.
• Manage design coordination, BIM integration, technical queries, scheduling, resource planning, and material delivery programmes.
• Control package costs, procurement, variations, subcontractor performance, and commercial risk.
• Lead commissioning, reporting, project close-out, and support the development and performance of project teams and subcontractors.

Mechanical Project Manager

Mechanical Project Manager required for one of Ireland’s largest main contractors on a Data Centre project in Frankfurt Germany. The successful candidate will report into the Project Manager.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Mechanical Leadership: Lead all mechanical construction activities, equipment packages, and trade interfaces to deliver project objectives.
• Safety & Compliance: Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with site procedures, permits, safe systems of work, and regulatory requirements.
• Quality & Assurance: Oversee QA/QC processes, inspections, audits, snagging, and documentation to ensure works meet project standards.
• Design & Planning: Manage design coordination, BIM integration, technical queries, scheduling, resource planning, and material delivery programmes.
• Commercial & Subcontractor Management: Control package costs, procurement, variations, subcontractor performance, and commercial risk.
• Project Delivery & Team Development: Lead commissioning, reporting, project close-out, and support the development and performance of project teams and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering relevant Mechanical Trade qualification.
• 7+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience working on a Data Centre project would be beneficial.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines.
