Job summary

ID Recruitment are working with a growing mechanical and electrical engineering company to recruit a Mechanical HVAC Maintenance Engineer for an ongoing project in Co. Sligo.

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily maintenance and the delivery of new and existing projects in line with policies, procedures, EHSQ and targets. This role reports directly to Contracts Managers.

Qualifications

• Industrial Plumbing experience with a minimum of 3 years.
• Full driving licence required.
• OFTEC and RGI qualifications are advantageous.
• AC knowledge is a plus but not essential.
• Attention to detail for preventative maintenance and fault finding.
• Experience with ventilation and plumbing systems and building management systems.
• Strong communication, time management and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant.
• Liaise with specialist contractors for gases, fume extraction, etc.
• Maintenance of AHUs, extract fans, boilers, pumps, tanks, and piping.
• Assist Contracts Manager with commissioning plans on site.
• Maintain Document Management System and liaise with site team daily.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preventative and reactive maintenance on all mechanical plant
• Liaise with specialist contractors, such as Medical gases, fumeextractions etc.
• The following are some of the items that will need to bemaintained
  
• AHUs
• - Extractfans - Gasfired boilers - OilBoilers - Domesticand Booster Pumps - Waterstorage tanks - Hotwater calorifiers - Distributionpipe work and ductwork - Alldomestic plumbing systems
• Assisting Contracts Manager in developing and implementingcommissioning plans on site
• Maintaining Document Management System
• Liaising with client-based site team and end users on a dailybasis
  

Skills and Experience

• IndustrialPlumbing Experience +3 years min
• Full DrivingLicence required
• OFTEC and RGIwould be advantageous
• A knowledge of AC would bea plus but not essential
• Excellent attention to detail for preventativemaintenance
• Goodfault-finding ability for reactive maintenance
