Job summary

Jones Engineering Group in Dublin is seeking an experienced Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Engineer to maintain and repair HVAC plant, including Single Splits, VRV, Chillers, AHUs, and fans. You will work independently or with a team, ensure high-quality workmanship and timely delivery.

The role requires strong fault-finding skills, knowledge of CMMS and client liaison, a FETAC Level 6 qualification with F-Gas registration, and a track record of five years' post-apprenticeship experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post-apprenticeship experience in HVAC service and repair.
• FETAC Level 6 in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning with F-Gas registration.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong relationship-building with clients and stakeholders.
• Familiar with BMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair of HVAC plant including split systems and VRV.
• Perform fault finding and reactive call-outs to ensure high standards.
• Work with CMMS and update job status in real time.

Job Description

About the role:

• Carry out in maintenance and repair of HVAC plant to include Single Splits, VRV systems, Chillers, Air Handling Units, Supply and Extract Fans. Experience in Boilers and general boiler house plant would be advantageous but not essential.
• Fault finding in all aspects of HVAC plant.
• Carry out reactive call outs and unscheduled works.
• To ensure all works are carried out to a high standard and to be delivered on time.
• To work with company CMMS and keep updated at all times.

Skills and Requirements

• Time served Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Engineer with a minimum of FETAC Level 6 complete with F-Gas registration.
• Minimum 5 years post apprenticeship experience in service and repair in all aspects of HVAC plant.
• Excellent communication skills and a pleasant personality with the ability to work individually as well as a part of a team.
• The ability to start and develop excellent relationships with clients.
• Familiar with the use of BMS systems.
