Mechanical Engineers Limerick €40-65k

Our client is a Consultancy based in Limerick who are actively recruiting for Design Engineers who can manage all mechanical design aspects of their clients' projects.

Candidates will be working within a team managing projects from conceptual stage through to detailed design in a clear, concise and coordinated manner, meeting project deadlines and financial constraints. The position would suit a motivated, practical and adaptable individual who is looking for opportunity to grow both their technical knowledge and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the successful delivery of mechanical design on a variety of projects
• Developing high quality sustainable building engineering services designs, calculations, technical notes and reports
• Ensuring technical quality through implementation of best practice and continuous improvement processes
• Prepare reports and recommendations for client presentation
• Maintain awareness of latest legislation and industry trends through continued professional development
• Consider health and safety in all aspects of the work

Requirements

• Degree Level Educated in a Mechanical / Building Services discipline
• Relevant experience in the design and specification of Mechanical Building Services systems to relevant standards and codes of practice
• Working knowledge of all other Building Services disciplines
• Ability to consider safety in design and develop design solutions to eliminate health and safety risks
• Ability to research and work on own initiative
