Job summary

Arup Ireland is inviting expressions of interest for Mechanical & Electrical Engineers to contribute to a broad range of building services projects across Ireland. With opportunities in Dublin, Cork or Limerick, engineers will join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team focused on innovative design and sustainable outcomes.

Successful candidates will work on diverse projects, applying engineering excellence, BIM-enabled workflows, and rigorous design standards.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in the design of Building Services systems such as HVAC, pressure cascades, specialist gases; understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice, in Industry, Healthcare and/or Third Level Education.
• Ability to work in a BIM environment.
• Detailed knowledge of relevant industry codes of practice and standards.
• Ability to produce technical reports and commercial proposals for clients.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the design of mechanical & electrical services for a variety of building types, including commercial, residential, healthcare, science and industry, technology and education.
• Use your technical expertise to develop innovative and sustainable design solutions.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and designers to deliver some of the most complex and high-quality projects, in Ireland and overseas.
• Manage projects and deliver on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
