Job summary

Hunter Savage is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Cork to design and develop agricultural and manufacturing products such as gates, cubicles, barriers and crushers. This permanent, on-site role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a growing engineering team.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering degree, experience in mechanical design, and is proficient with AutoCAD and/or Inventor.

Qualifications

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in mechanical design, manufacturing or product development.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
Experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
A practical approach with interest in moving concepts to manufacture.
Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings for manufacturing and workshop requirements.
Produce layouts and technical drawings for agricultural and engineering products.
Design components including gates, barriers, cubicles, crushers and shed-related products.
Collaborate with sales to develop customer-specific solutions.
Support manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical for production.
Assist with new product introductions and improvements.
