Job summary

Carbon60 is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Kilkenny to join a growing team delivering Water and Wastewater projects across Ireland. This hybrid role offers involvement from concept design through commissioning on high-profile infrastructure schemes.

You will perform mechanical equipment selection, hydraulic calculations, and develop P&IDs and drawings, collaborating with project managers and suppliers to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Level 7/8/9).
• Experience in Water, Wastewater, Utilities, Pumping Systems, Fluid Handling, Process Engineering, Oil & Gas, or similar.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and piping design.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work on impactful engineering projects that contribute to sustainable water infrastructure?

We are recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering Water and Wastewater Treatment projects across Ireland. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on projects from concept design through to commissioning.
