The Sustaining Engineer at Vertiv Ireland will manage the Product Lifecycle for Switchgear design, an Engineered-To-Order product with high complexity and manufacturing support needs. You will bridge design and manufacturing, solving production issues and driving reliability improvements.

The Mechanical Design Engineer or Sustaining Engineer is responsible for managing the Product Lifecycle for Switchgear design. Switchgear is primarily an Engineered-To-Order (ETO) product, which means each customer order is specifically engineered for each customer. This generally leads to higher complexity and variation for departments supporting this product family. This position is ideal for individuals who are searching for a fast-paced environment with a mix of product design and manufacturing support.
