Job summary

ROSS is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer/ CxM Lead for a hyperscale data centre program across Europe, with emphasis on Ireland and the Netherlands. Responsibilities include leading the mechanical commissioning scope, driving Level 1–3 testing, and collaborating with clients and contractors to deliver safe, on-time handovers.

The role requires strong mechanical engineering background, 5+ years in commissioning, and capability to travel as projects demand.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in mechanical commissioning, ideally data centre or mission-critical environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of chilled water systems, air handling and heat rejection in critical environments.
• Ability to manage commissioning programmes, coordinate with clients and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical commissioning scope on new data centre builds and upgrades.
• Manage Level 1–3 testing, from factory witness testing to integrated systems testing.
• Sign off on chillers, AHUs, pipework and valves and oversee TAB and flow verification.
• Own punch lists, completion status and turnover packages for mechanical systems.
