MEP Commissioning Lead - Hyperscale Data Centre

Job summary

ICDS Group is seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead for a major hyperscale Data Centre project in West Dublin. You will oversee the commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring safe, compliant and timely delivery.

The role requires strong coordination of contractors, management of the commissioning plan, and leadership of testing, RAMS and handover activities, all while promoting a strong Health & Safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• A 3rd level qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering, or relevant trade background.
• Minimum five years' site-based MEP commissioning experience.
• Strong IT, reporting and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all commissioning activities in line with the project programme.
• Manage the Commissioning Plan, CIPs and commissioning tagging process.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors and stakeholders to ensure systems are commissioned to specification.
• Monitor commissioning progress, manpower and programme performance.
• Conduct site inspections and chair weekly commissioning meetings.
• Ensure testing, commissioning, RAMS and handover documentation is completed and signed off.
• Coordinate with clients and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Ensure areas and systems meet required CSA/MEP quality standards for handover.
• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture across all commissioning activities.
