Job summary

Veolia Ireland seeks a Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting Apprentice in Clondalkin, Co Dublin. 39 hours/week, 08:00–16:30, on-site training with hands-on installation, maintenance and repair of plant and machinery.

Responsibilities include fabricating components with lathes/milling, welding and CNC programming concepts, and gaining skills in hydraulics, pneumatics and CAD/CAM as part of the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate required.
• Strong mathematical ability.
• EU/EEA national or right to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair plant and machinery.
• Replace worn or broken parts and adjust components.
• Service and check equipment; fabricate components if needed.
• Work with machine tools, welding, machining, and basic CAD/CAM concepts.
