Job summary

Veolia Ireland is seeking a Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting Apprentice in Clondalkin, Co Dublin. The role covers installation, maintenance, and repairs of process plant and machinery, with emphasis on fault rectification and component replacement.

As an apprentice, you will work with machine tools and learn to integrate with PLCs, CNC, CAD, CIM and CAM systems, developing hands-on skills in turning, milling, welding and hydraulics.

Qualifications

Leaving Certificate and strong mathematical ability are required.
EU/EEA nationals must show proof of right to work in Ireland.
Non-EU/EEA nationals require current and valid permission to work and reside in the Republic of Ireland.
Apprenticeship focuses on mechanical automation and maintenance fitting.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and maintain process plant and machine tools.
Fault rectification and component replacement.
Fabricate components using machining and welding.
Work with PLCs, CNC, CAD, CIM and CAM systems.
Follow safety and environmental guidelines.
