Job summary

Arthur Mallon Foods is seeking a hands-on role in our production team. You will de-box meat, formulate recipes, input data, and operate mincing and chopping equipment in a chilled environment.

We value adherence to food safety standards, basic data handling, and teamwork to meet production goals. Flexibility for evening shifts is essential, with a starting rate of €14.25 and progression to €15 after probation.

Qualifications

• Experience in meat preparation or related field preferred.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to move product up to 25 kg in a chilled facility.
• Basic spoken and written English for clear communication.
• Basic computer skills.
• Flexibility with working hours and willingness to cover evening shifts.

The Role

• De- boxing meat
• Formulation of recipes
• Inputting of data
• Operation of mincing and chopping equipment
• Adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Working alongside our production team to meet production goals/targets and maintain product quality.

The Person

• Previous experience in meat preparation or a related field is preferred but not essential
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to move product of up to 25kgs around a chilled production facility
• Basic spoken and written English to assist good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Basic computer skills
• Flexibility with working hours and willingness to provide cover for our evening shift as required is essential
