Materials Manager - County Louth.

As a key member of the leadership team, the Materials Manager will will be responsible for all procurement and planning activities to ensure compliance, customer & company requirements are met at the best value.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

• Management of the procurement and planning teams.
• Work with the production and sales teams with regards to customer schedules to ensure on time delivery of finished product to customers.
• Leads the negotiation of the purchase of raw materials and management of second process supply chain to ensure consistency and best value to drive cost savings.
• Identify / procure and control raw material requirements consumed in the manufacture of finished product.
• Co-ordinates, in conjunction with Stores and the Quality department, the resolution of any internal or external complaints of purchased raw materials and / or second process issues.
• Responsible for maintaining and reporting on vendor performance and reporting findings in line with documented procedures.
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining ERP systems accuracy.
• Support the wider management team.
