The Quality Assurance Masters Intern will support the Quality team in maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company procedures, and regulatory requirements. This position provides hands on exposure to quality systems, documentation practices, manufacturing quality oversight, and continuous improvement activities within a regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment. The Masters intern will work closely with Quality Assurance professionals and cross-functional partners to gain practical experience in quality operations while contributing to departmental objectives

Responsibilities:

• Quality Systems Support- Assist with the management and organisation of quality documentation, including SOPs, records, reports, and controlled documents.
• Support document reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GMP requirements.
• Assist in maintaining electronic quality systems and databases.
• Operational Quality Support- Participate in routine quality activities and meetings.
• Support review of manufacturing and laboratory documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Assist with tracking quality metrics and preparing reports.
• Investigations and Compliance- Provide administrative support for deviation, CAPA, change control, and investigation activities.
• Assist in gathering data for quality investigations and analysis.
• Support inspection readiness and audit preparation activities.
• Continuous Improvement- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimisation projects.
• Assist with data collection, analysis, and presentation of findings.
• Contribute ideas to enhance quality systems and operational efficiency.
• General Responsibilities- Follow all applicable safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Complete assigned training in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Additional Skills / Preferences:

• Strong academic performance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
