Job summary

The Brehon Hotel & Spa in Killarney is seeking a Marketing & Sales Assistant to join our award-winning team. This role supports the Sales & Marketing team as we refurbish rooms and spaces, driving brand success.

We welcome candidates with hospitality experience looking to move into Sales & Marketing or current marketing professionals seeking growth. You will design brand collateral, manage social channels, support CRM and GDPR compliance, and represent the brand at events, with occasional

Qualifications

• Marketing or communications degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing marketing and communications projects.
• Strong command of English, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of high-end luxury hotel market desirable.
• Canva knowledge; Photoshop/Illustrator a plus.
• Full clean driver's licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing Sales & Marketing strategies for The Brehon Hotel & Spa.
• Design brand collateral, advertisements, and digital content (Canva essential).
• Assist in managing all social media channels – including scheduling, posting and monitoring results.
• Ensure external partner websites are accurate and up to date, e.g. booking.com listing.
• Write engaging content for blogs, newsletters, and general communications.
• Assist in managing our CRM strategy, including database recruitment, management, and ezine creation, while GDPR compliant.
• Monitor competitor activity in press and online.
• Support the Sales team with administrative tasks, database management, invoicing, and supplier documentation.
• Contribute to PR and communications campaigns.
• Attend in-house and off-site Sales & Marketing events, representing the hotel brand.
• Be flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends when required.
• Assist with local and national B2B sales activities
• Represent The Brehon Hotel & Spa at consumer and trade shows

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Sales Assistant to join our award-winning team at The Brehon Hotel & Spa. The hotel has embarked on a new chapter, with the ongoing refurbishment of the bedrooms and public spaces continuing over the next number of years. We are seeking a creative, motivated, and passionate professional to support the Sales & Marketing team in driving the success of our brand.

This is a fantastic role for someone with a background in hospitality looking to move into Sales & Marketing, or for an existing marketing professional eager to grow their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Competencies &Qualifications

• Qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field (preferred).
• In-depth understanding of digital marketing best practices, trends, and strategies.
• Proven experience in managing marketing and communications projects.
• Strong command of the English language (both written and spoken).
• Knowledge of the high-end luxury hotel market desirable.
• Experience with graphic design tools (Canva essential, Adobe an advantage).
• Full clean drivers licence (preferred but not essential)
