Job summary

Morgan McKinley, in partnership with a global healthcare organisation, is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager on a 12-month contract to own the Irish marketing strategy across a diverse product portfolio.

Reporting into the commercial leadership team, you will shape and deliver the local strategy, support product launches and drive engagement with healthcare professionals while managing budgets and cross-functional partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience in pharma or healthcare.
  • Experience leading multiple product or therapeutic-area marketing initiatives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on with campaign planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of Irish healthcare landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with overall business and brand objectives.
  • Lead the marketing strategy for new product launches within the Irish market, from planning through to execution.
  • Develop compelling marketing campaigns and materials across relevant channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Build targeted customer engagement programmes and journeys to strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Establish clear KPIs and use performance data to assess campaign effectiveness, commercial impact and ROI.
  • Lead, support and develop the marketing team, ensuring priorities, responsibilities and objectives are clearly defined.
  • Partner with commercial, medical, regulatory and other cross-functional teams to deliver marketing initiatives.
  • Support and lead educational and commercially focused engagement with healthcare professionals.
  • Act as the key local marketing contact for regional and global teams, supporting international brand initiatives and requests.
  • Manage the annual marketing budget, including forecasting, monitoring and allocation of spend.
  • Develop and deliver marketing training for commercial teams, including new product launches and ongoing capability development.
  • Oversee the development and approval of marketing content, working closely with Medical and Regulatory teams to ensure all materials meet relevant requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on marketing performance and activity to local, regional and global stakeholders.
  • Ensure all marketing activity is conducted in line with company policies, industry standards and applicable legislation.

The Role

Reporting into the wider commercial leadership team, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for shaping and delivering the Irish marketing strategy, supporting product launches and driving effective engagement with healthcare professionals.

About You

The successful candidate will be an experienced pharmaceutical marketer with strong commercial awareness and a proven ability to lead marketing activity across multiple products or therapeutic areas.

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years' marketing experience, ideally gained within the pharmaceutical or wider healthcare sector.
  • Previous experience operating at Marketing Manager, Senior Marketing Manager or Marketing Lead level.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic and tactical marketing plans.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and Irish healthcare landscape, including primary and secondary care.
  • Experience working across multiple brands, products or therapeutic areas.
  • Proven people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • A strong understanding of marketing performance measurement, KPIs and commercial outcomes.
  • Experience collaborating with Medical, Regulatory, Sales and wider cross-functional teams.
  • A high level of commercial and strategic thinking, combined with a hands-on approach to delivery
