DESCRIPTION
As Marketing Manager Ireland, you will be responsible for translating the CELSIUS strategy into a locally relevant marketing plan and driving its execution across the market.
You will effectively span brand, communications, partnerships, events, shopper and local activations.
You will have the support of the wider UKI Marketing team, global CELSIUS teams and specialist agencies, but you will be expected to be a self-starter and the person who makes Ireland happen.
You will understand the Irish consumer, identify where CELSIUS can win and turn those opportunities into action.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ireland Market & Brand Ownership
- Own the Ireland marketing plan and calendar, translating the UKI and global brand strategy into locally relevant activity.
- Act as the key marketing lead and brand guardian for CELSIUS in Ireland.
- Identify consumer, cultural and commercial opportunities that can accelerate CELSIUS's growth.
- Ensure CELSIUS has a consistent and distinctive presence across all consumer touchpoints.
- Build strong relationships with Distributor, agencies and external partners to ensure marketing and commercial plans work together.
- Bring local consumer and market insight back into the wider UKI and global teams.
Communications & Brand Building
- Own the Irish communications strategy across PR, social, influencer, talent and paid media, working with specialist agencies and the UK Communications team.
- Adapt UK/global campaigns for the Irish market where appropriate, ensuring the brand remains consistent while feeling locally relevant.
- Identify opportunities to build cultural relevance through sport, fitness, entertainment and lifestyle.
- Manage local talent, influencer and partnership opportunities.
- Work with the UK team to leverage existing CELSIUS assets, campaigns, partnerships and content
Events, Partnerships & Shopper
- Own the Irish events and partnerships calendar.
- Identify high-value local opportunities across fitness, sport, university, culture and lifestyle.
- Lead activation planning and execution with the support of the UK Marketing Operations team and agencies.
- Ensure retailer activity, sampling and local activations connect back to the wider CELSIUS brand strategy.
- Manage local budgets, timelines and agency deliverables.
Agency & Stakeholder Management
- Brief and manage local agencies across media, social, influence, events and production.
- Set clear objectives and hold partners accountable for quality, delivery and effectiveness.
- Work closely with UKI Marketing to access specialist expertise, best practice, assets and strategic support.
- Build strong relationships with the Irish distributor and internal commercial teams.
- Manage multiple priorities independently and elevate only when required.
Budget & Performance
- Own the Ireland marketing budget and ensure investment is deployed against the highest-impact opportunities.
- Track campaign performance and build a clear understanding of what is driving awareness, trial, distribution and sales.
- Establish clear KPIs for activity and provide regular market updates to the Head of Marketing UKI.
- Use performance and consumer insight to continuously improve the Ireland plan.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years' experience in marketing, ideally within FMCG, consumer, lifestyle, sport or another fast-moving category.
- Experience working across multiple marketing disciplines - ideally brand, communications, events, partnerships and/or shopper.
- Strong commercial understanding and ability to connect marketing activity to business outcomes.
- Proven ability to own a market, project or portfolio with significant autonomy.
- Excellent agency and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong creative judgement and understanding of what makes a brand culturally relevant.
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable operating without a large team around you.
- Comfortable moving between strategy and execution - from defining the big idea to making sure the activation actually happens.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
- Strong understanding of the Irish consumer, culture and media landscape.
- Passion for fitness, sport, lifestyle and the communities CELSIUS plays in.
