Job summary

Bulmers Ireland seeks a commercially driven Business Development Manager to identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across the licensed trade and on-trade sector. This role offers the chance to drive growth, build strategic customer partnerships and maximise sales within a competitive market.

You will expand market presence, develop profitable partnerships and deliver revenue growth through a consultative approach, working with a leading drinks company in Ireland.

Qualifications

  • Proven business development or sales experience within FMCG, drinks, hospitality, retail or the licensed trade.
  • Strong track record of securing new business and delivering sales growth.
  • Knowledge of the on-trade market and customer landscape.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage sales activity and opportunities.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Commercially minded with strong business acumen.
  • Ability to analyse data and identify growth opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven and results-focused.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across the licensed trade and on-trade sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-focused sales professional with strong FMCG, drinks, retail, or hospitality experience to drive growth, build strategic customer relationships, and maximise sales performance within a highly competitive market.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market presence, developing profitable customer partnerships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth through a consultative and commercially focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and win new business opportunities within the on-trade and licensed trade sectors.
