Job summary

XOCEAN is seeking an USV Field Service Technician (Electrical) to maintain electrical systems on uncrewed surface vessels (USVs) across Ireland, Europe and the UK. The role involves shore-based duties with travel to project sites, including road transport and launch/recovery operations.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years in a similar role, be a fully qualified electrician, hold STCW PST and First Aid certs, and possess a BE (car + trailer) licence, with experience in

Qualifications

• Fully qualified electrician with relevant maritime wiring experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
• Experience in Industrial / maritime / control system wiring.
• Holder of BE car+trailer licence.
• STCW PST & Elementary First Aid certificates and Seafarer medical.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance on USVs onsite.
• Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems onsite.
• Maintenance of quality, health, safety & environment standards.
• Mobilise USVs including road transport and launch/recovery at project locations.
• Provide local, on the ground assessment of conditions for project decisions.
