You will lead small systems projects, develop SOPs and training materials, and collaborate with global and local teams on system upgrades, change requests, and documentation.

Job description

PE Global is recruiting for a Manufacturing Systems Specialist for our biopharmaceutical client in Cork. This is an initial 12-month contract, fully onsite role.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Systems Specialist is responsible for maintaining efficient and correct usage of SAP/MES within the Warehouse to enable stock accuracies and batch traceability - These activities include but are not confined to:

GENERAL ACTIVITIES

• SAP single point of contact for key user/end user support & issue escalations within the Warehouse.
• MES single point of contact for issue escalations within the Warehouse.
• Point of contact for Warehouse Applications related initiatives/projects - representing the Warehouse on all impacting projects coming from global (e.g. system upgrades), local (e.g. change requests), other (e.g. JJPS).
• Developing and supporting key user training.
• Business Process Analysis for new functionality or modifications.
• Maintain SAP related SOPs/WIs and all other supporting documentation such as jobcards and training material.
• Support delivery of end user training for SAP.
• Take responsibility for leading small systems projects from including definition and project goals, scope and schedule. Manage risk and provide regular updates on progress to stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
• Work with SAP/MES SME's from other departments

GENERAL SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead by example and strive to perform at high standards at all times.

• Carry out all activities in compliance with corporate and cGMP/EHS regulatory requirements.
• Compliance with Manufacturing and general site procedures at all times.
• Completion of all documentation in compliance with site procedures and GDP.
• Execution of activities as necessary to meet operational and business needs.
• Lead and Support investigation and resolution of problems on plant pertaining to single use material concerns.
• Participate in and lead Cross-Functional teams as necessary.
• Generate and assist with generation, review, and revision of Manufacturing documentation as necessary.
• Ensure that personal training requirements are completed in compliance with site procedures. Training and support for new recruits to the Manufacturing group

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Degree or Postgraduate qualification in a relevant IT/Systems area.
• Experience of SAP, MES, electronic documentation system and/or other business systems.
• Knowledge of System Validation desirable but not essential.
• Manufacturing experience within a GMP regulated environment.
• Experience of Microsoft Office Applications.
• 6-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe or similar problem solving/decision making methodology training.
