Job summary

PE Global is recruiting for a Warehouse Systems Specialist for a biopharmaceutical client in Cork. This is an initial 12-month contract, fully onsite role.

The role focuses on maintaining SAP/MES usage for stock accuracy and batch traceability, acting as the SAP/MES SME, developing user training, and leading small system projects with due regard to GMP/EHS requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or Postgraduate qualification in a relevant IT/Systems area.
• Experience of SAP, MES, electronic documentation system and/or other business systems.
• Knowledge of System Validation desirable but not essential.
• Manufacturing experience within a GMP regulated environment.
• Project Management knowledge.
• Postgraduate Qualification.
• Experience of Microsoft Office Applications.
• 6-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe or similar problem solving/decision making methodology training.

Responsibilities

• SAP single point of contact for user support and issue escalations within the Warehouse.
• MES single point of contact for issue escalations within the Warehouse.
• Represent Warehouse on system upgrade and change initiative projects from global and local areas.
• Develop and support key user training.
• Perform Business Process Analysis for new functionality or modifications.
• Maintain SAP SOPs/WIs and related documentation.
• Lead small systems projects: define goals, scope, schedule, and risk; provide updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with SAP/MES SMEs from other departments.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Systems Specialist is responsible for maintaining efficient and correct usage of SAP/MES within the Warehouse to enable stock accuracies and batch traceability – These activities include but are not confined to:

GENERAL ACTIVITIES

• SAP single point of contact for key user/end user support & issue escalations within the Warehouse.
• MES single point of contact for issue escalations within the Warehouse.
• Point of contact for Warehouse Applications related initiatives/projects – representing the Warehouse on all impacting projects coming from global (e.g. system upgrades), local (e.g. change requests), other (e.g. JJPS).
• Developing and supporting key user training.
• Business Process Analysis for new functionality or modifications.
• Maintain SAP related SOPs/WIs and all other supporting documentation such as jobcards and training material.
• Support delivery of end user training for SAP.
• Take responsibility for leading small systems projects from including definition and project goals, scope and schedule. Manage risk and provide regular updates on progress to stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
• Work with SAP/MES SME’s from other departments

GENERAL SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead by example and strive to perform at high standards at all times.

• Carry out all activities in compliance with corporate and cGMP/EHS regulatory requirements.

• Completion of all documentation in compliance with site procedures and GDP.
• Execution of activities as necessary to meet operational and business needs.
• Lead and Support investigation and resolution of problems on plant pertaining to single use material concerns.
• Participate in and lead Cross-Functional teams as necessary.
• Generate and assist with generation, review, and revision of Manufacturing documentation as necessary.
• Ensure that personal training requirements are completed in compliance with site procedures. Training and support for new recruits to the Manufacturing group
