Job summary

Collins McNicholas Recruitment & HR Services Group is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Analyst to support critical manufacturing, laboratory and quality systems in a regulated medical device environment. This role provides hands-on systems support, coordinates incidents and liaises with SAP users and central teams.

This initial 12-month subcontracting opportunity requires strong troubleshooting, cybersecurity awareness and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain compliant systems

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience supporting enterprise, manufacturing or operational technology systems.
  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, life sciences or another regulated manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Windows administration/troubleshooting and Active Directory/access management.
  • Application installation, configuration and support.
  • Good understanding of networking, servers, workstations and endpoints.
  • ERP experience; SAP preferred.
  • Experience with incident/problem management and production-critical systems.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity remediation and compliance activities.
  • Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support production-critical manufacturing, laboratory and quality systems.
  • Troubleshoot application, workstation, server, access and connectivity issues and coordinate resolution of major incidents.
  • Provide L0/L1 SAP support and liaise with central application teams.
  • Support integrations between manufacturing equipment, laboratory instruments, ERP and business applications.
  • Own/support site-specific applications, including vendor coordination, lifecycle management and documentation.
  • Support cybersecurity remediation, vulnerability management, access reviews and technology refresh activities.
  • Maintain systems in line with regulatory, quality and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Support system upgrades, migrations, deployments, testing and validation activities.
  • Participate in shutdowns, maintenance windows, disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, IT/BTS, Cybersecurity and third-party vendors.

Job description
