EFOR in Waterford, Ireland, seeks a Production Support Engineer for a 6-month contract to provide hands-on support to our production operations. The role requires a degree in engineering, 2+ years in production support, and strong problem-solving, with emphasis on Lean/Six Sigma, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will troubleshoot, optimize processes, and document SOPs while ensuring compliance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in production support, manufacturing engineering, or related areas.
• In‑depth knowledge of production processes, equipment troubleshooting, and reliability best practices.
• Proficient in process optimization and continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, etc.).
• Experience with root cause analysis and failure investigations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross‑functional teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards relevant to production environments.
• Experience in technology transfer, commissioning, or validation projects.
• Knowledge of automation and digital manufacturing systems.
• Proficiency with production data analysis tools and reporting.
