Job summary

Kepak Group in Cavan is seeking a General Operative to join the McCarren Meats manufacturing facility. You will work as part of the operations team, performing line operation, packing, cleaning and health and safety tasks, with exposure to cold environments and production pressures.

Qualifications

• Previous production experience beneficial.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment beneficial.
• Health and safety awareness essential.
• Good character and ability to pass confidential checks.

Responsibilities

• Work in the production area performing line operation, packing and cleaning.
• Follow the daily production plan and assist with line setup and checks.
• Report breakages, damages or equipment issues to the Line Supervisor.
• Ensure product quality and report issues promptly to maintain standards.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives and training.
