Job summary

Vertiv Co. seeks a dynamic Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead the Burnfoot production facility in County Donegal. The role requires strategic leadership to drive operational excellence, safety, quality, and cost objectives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will manage cross-functional teams, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and align operations with overall business goals, reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong track record of building and sustaining high-performance teams.
• Demonstrated success in leading change and implementing continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business Management or related field preferred.
• Will accept expert industry-related experience in lieu of third-level qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve operational targets.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Champion change management, implementing process improvements and lean practices.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations with business goals.
• Monitor KPIs and use data to guide decision-making.
• Lead and supervise production team leaders and staff.
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and logistics teams.
• Prepare and present production performance reports to senior management.
• Manage production budgets and control costs.
• Drive employee engagement, training, and development programs.
• Foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.
