Job summary

Vertiv Co. seeks a dynamic Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead the Burnfoot production facility in County Donegal. The role requires strategic leadership to drive operational excellence, safety, quality, and cost objectives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will manage cross-functional teams, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and align operations with overall business goals, reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong track record of building and sustaining high-performance teams.
• Demonstrated success in leading change and implementing continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business Management or related field preferred.
• Will accept expert industry-related experience in lieu of third-level qualifications.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our production facility in Burnfoot, County Donegal. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing high-performance teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering change in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, inspire, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve operational targets and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, using data to guide decision-making and improve outcomes.
• Lead, coach, and supervise production team leaders and staff.
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and logistics teams to maintain seamless operations.
• Prepare and present production performance reports to senior management.
• Manage production budgets and control costs effectively.
• Drive employee engagement, training, and development programs.
• Champion operational excellence and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment, or similar.
• Strong track record of building and sustaining high-performance teams.
• Demonstrated success in leading change and implementing continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma qualifications).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business Management or related field (preferred).
• Will accept expert industry related experience in lieu of Third level qualifications
