Job summary

A leading manufacturing and industrial organisation in Ireland seeks a qualified Management Accountant (Manufacturing) to join the finance team in Galway or Dublin. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will produce management accounts, drive financial control, deliver insights to operational teams, and support budgeting and forecasting.

You will lead a small finance team, develop KPI dashboards with Power BI, and ensure compliance with controls and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 3+ years' experience in a Management Accountant or similar role.
• Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or construction sector experience desirable.
• Strong month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliation experience.
• Experience with Power BI and ERP systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Deliver financial analysis and reporting against budgets and forecasts.
• Complete month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
• Monitor costs, overheads, cash flow, and capital expenditure.
• Lead and develop a small finance team.
