Job summary

Randstad Employment Bureau in Kilrush, Co. Clare, seeks a reliable Production Support Operative for a 6-month contract to support the production team and ensure continuous, trouble-free operation.

The role covers end-of-line packaging, labeling, materials replenishment, waste management and quality assurance support, with ad-hoc tasks across the floor to keep production on track. Hours are full-time, 39 per week, Mon-Thu 08:30-17:00 and Fri 08:30-16:00.

Qualifications

• Proactive mindset to identify tasks without supervision.
• Ability to stand, walk and perform manual handling during shifts.
• Precision when printing/applying labels for traceability.
• Clear English communication to follow schedules and safety rules.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality for floor support.

Responsibilities

• End-of-Line Packaging: supervise final prep of goods and secure loads for transport.
• Labelling: generate and apply correct product labels to batches.
• Materials replenishment: stock monitoring and supplies to operators.
• Waste & environment: keep floor tidy, recycle and remove waste.
• QA support: visually inspect pallets for packaging/labeling quality.
