Job summary

MSD Ballydine is seeking an Associate Specialist, Manufacturing Automation to support automation systems delivery across cGMP operations. You will partner with Automation and IT teams, deliver projects on time and within budget, provide day-to-day operations support and assist with capital projects.

The role requires a degree in automation/process control or related field, and strong skills in DCS/PLC/BMS/SCADA, data reporting, and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Automation Process Control, Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Experience in implementing and supporting automation projects.

Responsibilities

Deliver automation systems on time and within budget.
Provide day-to-day support to Operations including fault diagnosis/remediation.
Support department activities such as user management; Preventative Maintenance and Periodic Reviews of PLC systems.
Develop SDLC deliverables in line with company standards (Requirements Spec, TRM, Functional/Design specs, test scripts).
Collaborate with Automation vendors/partners to meet project requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
